Having fun in a
go-cart:

Week of December 5th:
Last camping of the
year, a whole week at Buckskin Mt. State Park:
The camper was
decorated for Christmas.
Fantastic spot very
close to the Colorado River:
CHRISTMAS LIGHTS:
OCTOBER 27, 2021
Finally took another
camping trip. Would you believe that ALL
State Parks were booked?
We finally found the
last two sites at Alamo Lake State Park.
Weather was good, bees were somewhat of a problem.
Lots
of Stars and quiet.
Shown; the lake from
our campsite:
Lots of room:
Nice camp fire every
night:
Bought
a carrier to hold firewood.
Also, keeps dirty items
out of the motorhome.
Next
camp, Buckskin Mountain State Park, Parker AZ.

So far, so good, she
has not been eaten by Jack or Jill.
Anthony seen below as
he drives a race car in Peoria Arizona:
I will get some more
photos soon to add to this.
Below,
my solution to keep the RV batteries at full charge.
Just install a Switch:
No battery drain.
No dead battery on the
engine.
The porch is now very
comfortable with added lights.
Also, a Roku TV and portable Swamp Cooler added.
Now,
just waiting for 110 + degree heat to finally go away.
A view at night:
Older stuff: 5-17-2021
Fixed ceiling and
installed a bed.
Jane has her own cubby
under the bed.
Need to update this
photo soon, do not ask.
November, 2020 Finally
did cataract surgery on my left eye. Right eye to follow.
All worked great, thank
the Lord.
Foggy vision the next
day, then all cleared up. Works GREAT.

Due to the very very
hot summer, not much camping.
We saw a break coming in the 100+ temps.
Chose Buckskin State Park, Parker AZ Colorado River.
It was low 90’s and a cool breeze off the river, along with
SHADE.
DELIGHTFUL!

Just got
back from a camping trip to Cottonwood, AZ
The weather
was forecast to be nice, but at the last minute a High Pressure backtracked.
It was
HOT. But I had a good supply of beer and
survived.
However,
a brush fire closed Interstate 17 completely while we were at Sunset Point Rest
Stop.
We got
back on the road with the fire behind us, making it to Cottonwood OK.
Everybody
else was stranded for five hours.
We had
the entire Northbound I-17 to ourselves.
PS, by
the time I started up, EVERYTHING was on fire by the road.
All set
up at camp:
Lots of green around us, even though it made it to 101
degrees, daytime.
We have
a fenced area for the dogs:
Another
view of the camp spot:
Before the COVID-19 crap;
We now have one of those Robot Vacs:
Meet “Baby Shark” named by Jane:
The Camper Batteries finally failed. Better now than in Laughlin Nevada in a few
weeks:
Lots of rust here.
After the replacement, did it myself as usual.
Also installed some Roll-down Shades for porch
privacy.
Works really nice for us:
Please note, we got rid of the shelves on left, but it is
raining today, the shades are up:
Another view, shades are down:
Forgot we put up some Party Lights:
Our friends in Syracuse NY had this type, I like the bulb
design:
That’s it for now.
Some
stuff from February, 2020:
Had
to post this. Believe it or not, there
are a ton of millennials that not only believe in
Global Warming/Climate
Change, but also believe the Earth is FLAT!
(LOL)
The months in 2020 are flying by. Almost time to take the camper to Laughlin
NV.
Another LASD Roundup the first of April.
Found some old Posse photos when I worked with Maricopa
Sheriff.
Posted for old times’ sake. Little
old for that now.
Yes, I was qualified for Rifle:
Sad to say, we have not had the opportunity and funds to
make a spring camping trip.
We hope to start more trips after April 2.
We will update pictures ASAP when there is something to see
of interest.
Last December:
Roof leak in the scrapbook room. Thought it was coming from the nearby
skylight.
However,
it was leaking by the roof edge, due to a construction error of the shingle
roof.
Lots of
water up there……………..
Note, that necessary
roof flashing was left out when constructing the home:
A real
mess:
Jeff sealing the roof edges. Apparently this fixed the leak problem.
Our
“pencil tree”
Dining Room Decoration:

Night View:
More:
And the last view:
Took in the Dream City Church Christmas show:
Lots of courage to do that. No safety net:
Great show. Last pictures
before warned to not take pictures:
Older stuff;
Added more trip photos:
Scroll down…………….
As of October 25, checked
out a suspected plumbing leak in the RV shower.
Every time we used the shower, some
water dripped on the driver side rear dual tires.
After removing the access panel I found
a factory mistake.
The pipe had leaked from day one with
the first owner.
So, I built a drain, using a new P-Trap
fitting. All is good now:
A VIEW OF THE PROBLEM:

Had a nice 81st
birthday, but did not post full photo.
They forgot to take the picture before I inhaled all the food.
Even the glass of cold
draft beer was gone.
Upgraded
the toilet after coming home. The low
profile plastic unit was like a
Porta-potty, very
uncomfortable to use.
Replaced it with a
china bowl, elongated, like we have at home:
OLD:
NEW:
This unit has a WOOD
seat that you can actually sit on, rather than plastic.
A tiny plant in our back
“yard” is showing off now;

As we headed northeast
the camping really improved.
Our destination, Liverpool New York (Upstate)
Nice back yard:
Grape vines, fountain.
Very restful.
Actually, our first destination plan was the New York State
Fair.
We have not been there for 25 years. Much is the same.
However, the Tractor Pulls are gone due to “Climate Change”
fears.
Butter sculpture is really improved:
Model Trains are still here 25 years later:

Last pose:
Camper made it all the way, no problems, no
crashes, just a great time, thank the
Lord!
He guided us through all the storms and dangers.
7-23-19: Won two free tickets to see a Diamond Backs
Ball Game.
Diamond Backs played
the Baltimore Oriels last place team –and they Beat Phoenix
.
June projects:
Replaced the master
bathroom sink:
OLD:
Ted, making the
oversize new sink fit the opening:
Project completed:
Then we painted around
the sink:
Ted was the man who cut
down the sink and made it fit the opening:
After that we finally
installed a Utility Sink.
Now we can wash the
dogs, etc.
Modified plumbing
shown. (Was for a washer prior)
Installed
two shutoff valves by floor.
Retained Left vertical
vent to enhance draining of water to P-trap, this makes a difference.
Utility Sink, now ready
to use:
Only
needed to install border around white splash guard.
CAMPING AT LOST DUTCHMAN
STATE PARK:
May 17-20
Fantastic weather I will remember this spot.
Jane, Bonnie and Jeff:
Now, THIS is
PROTECTION:
Just a note, the coach
must have been stored indoors for years, look at the frame and factory label:
Did I mention that 7
tires are new? (6 + spare)
Replaced
by previous owner just before he drove it to Phoenix from Colorado.
Oh yes, added an LED
driving/off road light:
LAUGHLIN NEVADA SHERIFF’S ROUNDUP 2019

Please do not disturb
them.
If you have a computer issue call me.
March
7, 2019:
Have
to take sedation for back nerve ablation Friday.
Had to stop anti-blood clot meds per doctors.
Sort
of rolling the dice here, but God is in control.
Procedure
was a success, and will do the second side April 1.
So…………Took
down the shade facing the morning sun.
After
all, I now have good looking and efficient windows:

Just got back from camping at the Colorado River in Parker,
AZ.
Weather
was great and no rain at all, high 60s, high 40s at night.
Buckskin Mt. State Park.
(This is the area of the river where I was hit by a
boat in 1971 and was declared as brain dead in Kaiser Hospital in Fontana
CA. A few days later, I came to in a
vegetated state, and my memory/personality was downloaded a few days
later. I suffered no after effects and
went back to work with LASD Industry Station Patrol, until I retired in 1981.)
This was God repairing a dead brain and restoring
memory data.
Standing by the
Colorado River during a low flow:
